What is the process for getting a Crown?
During your visit at Evercare Dental Group, your natural tooth is prepared for the porcelain crown and a precise impression is made. When preparing the tooth for a crown, it is important to maintain as much of the natural tooth structure as possible. Once the tooth is prepared and a mold has been made, a temporary crown is placed.
The impression is sent to a lab, where your final porcelain crown will be made to its exact specifications. During a secondary visit, the porcelain crown is cemented into place. At this time, your dentist will make any necessary adjustments.
